Remembrance Sunday 2020

Every year, the Legion calls on the nation to unite in commemorating Remembrance Sunday.

On Sunday 8 November 2020, the National Service of Remembrance will be held at the Cenotaph on Whitehall in London.

Places to take part in the March Past on Remembrance Sunday will again be allocated through ex-service and related civilian associations.

We are working to ensure the registration site is ready to go, and initial communications are sent out to associations by the Monday 6 April 2020. Thank you for your continued patience while we navigate new ways of working in these unprecedented times.

Pensioners prepare for Cenotaph March

At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We remembered them.

Every year the nation unites to make sure that no-one is forgotten and to remember and honour those who have sacrificed themselves to secure and protect our freedom.

Each year, up to 10,000 veterans participate in the March Past.

The number of people is limited to 10,000 due to the capacity in Whitehall, and the amount of time participants can reasonably be expected to stand.

More information will be made available on our website in April 2020.
